PRB: Power Tab Editor Crashes on Startup

Problem

The program crashes when you try to open it.

Cause

This problem is usually caused by corrupt toolbar information stored in the registry.

Resolution

Delete all of the toolbar entries from the Registry, as follows:

1. Click Start, and then click Run.
2. In the Open text box, type regedit.
3. Search for the HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Power Tab Software\Power Tab Editor 1.7 folder in the registry.
4. Within the folder, delete all of the Toolbar-Bar (and Toolbar-Summary) folders. BE SURE NOT TO DELETE ANYTHING ELSE FROM THE REGISTRY, especially anything outside of Power Tab Editor 1.7 folder.
5. On the File menu, click Exit.
6. Try reloading Power Tab Editor.

If deleting the Toolbar-x entries does not work, try deleting the entire contents of Power Tab Editor 1.7 registry folder.
