Symptoms

After you press play, a "divide by zero" error message appears, and the program terminates.

Cause

This bug is caused when the Bend Range value on the Playback Settings property page is set to zero.

Resolution

To resolve this problem, change the Bend Range value to a non-zero value, as follows:

  1. On the MIDI menu, click Setup and then click the Playback Settings tab.
  2. Type a non-zero value in the Bend Range box.
  3. Click OK.

If you still have problems, clear some or all of the "Use Pitch Wheel for" check boxes located below the Bend Range box.
