BUG: Setup Program Stalls During Installation

Symptoms
After downloading and running the Power Tab Editor installation package, the setup program stalls.
Cause
For some unknown reason, the setup program has trouble installing the Power Tab font on some user's machines.
Resolution
Try installing the Power Tab font manually, as described under the Resolution heading in the article Music Notes Not Displaying Properly and then re-run the setup program. If the font is installed properly, the setup program should skip over the font portion of the installation process, and therefore should not stall.
Future releases of the program will use a different brand of installation technology, which should alleviate the problem.
Update
A new distribution package for Power Tab Editor v1.7 has been uploaded to Harmony Central. The package uses a different installation program and so far, users have not reported the stall problem experienced with the old package. I've been trying to upload the new package to Simtel for months now without success.
